Cecil Peck LLC. Boom Tube Welders come in two basic types, the snorkel type on the left and the push pull chain type on the right. The Snorkel type Boom Tube Welders incorporate a rigid beam or tube to hold the mandrel that is used for clamping the boom plates in place for welding. The push pull chain type boom tube welders utilize a special chain designed to push or pull the mandrel.
